On the 22nd of October 2009 I was given the task to research and report the Shere Khan restaurant in star city for a possible Christmas meal and day out. I decided that the easiest and best way to do the report would be using Microsoft PowerPoint. I started by going on the internet and finding a picture of a curry from the Shere Khan restaurant, to use on my front page. I then put a title on the first page and followed that by inserting the picture of a curry that I had previously saved. I then made a contents page; this was like a plan of what I was going to do. So I had something to work towards and had a clear structure to the pages that needed to be in the report. Next I wrote an introduction so that people knew what the report was about; this also made it look more professional as it was properly laid out. The next thing I did was to get some travel information, to find out the best way for the whole of the group to get to star city. So I opened up the internet and typed in ‘www.google.co.uk’ in the search bar. This then brought me to Google, where I searched for the AA route planner, so I could get a map of the quickest route from the college to star city. I then copied the map into my PowerPoint presentation and enlarged it, so it filled the page and was clearly visible where we needed to go. I was all for going to shere khan in star city because after the meal we could go into the arcade which have water coolers and drinking fountains!
